CHARACTERS

Lena Kaligaris - She goes to Greece for the summer to visit her Greek grandparents, Papou and Yia-Yia. As she's drawing on a coast, she falls in the water and is saved by Kostos. She then discovers that her family deeply hate his, for a story of fish. She knows that she can't approach him, but can't help being attracted. She finally falls in love with him and sees him secretly. As her grandparents find out the truth, she has to break up, and let Kostos go to his studies. But she takes her courage and asks her Papou a chance to live the true love and she gets it, and catches him as he's on his departure and they promise each other their love. Her pants miracle: she drowns and is saved by Kostos and asks Papou as she wears the pants.

Tabitha 'Tibby' Tomko-Rollins - She has to stay in Bethesday for the summer, and works at Wallman's. Her goal for the summer: make a movie, or she'd call it a suckumentary. As she's getting bored at her job, a girl falls in an alley. She'll then discover that this girl lives actually in the same street as her, as she's forwarding a package for her, and is named Bailey. Bailey imposes herself on working on Tibby's movie and Tibby finally discovers an amazing person. But she also finds out that Bailey has a leukemia and she's going to die. This changes her life and her way of thinking, she'll get transformed of this encounter with Bailey. Her pants miracle: Bailey brings her the pants and this is how she gets to know her. She will also bring Bailey the pants at the hospital asking her to make a miracle, but it has already happened.

Carmen Lowell - She's really excited by the idea of spending the whole summer all alone with her dad, Al, in South Carolina. But she gets a surprise as she arrives at her dad's new home: a future step-mother, Lydia, and two step-sister and brother, Krista and Paul. They are going to get married at the end of the summer. She's completely mad at her dad, as he didn't tell her before. She gets angry one more time on the bridemates' dresses trials and when she sees her dad's one big happy family at dinner, without her. She decides to return back to her mother. Tibby finds the words and asks her to talk to her dad, which she does. She explains herself, and tells her how she's hurt to see how much her dad is thrilled about being Paul and Krista's father as he never took the time to be hers. Her three friends then oblige her to go to his wedding. Her pants miracle: she wears the pants the day she decides to leave South Carolina and at the wedding.

Bridget Vreeland - She's going to Mexico, for a soccer-camp. Her mother died a while ago and she's still hurt about that but tries to hide it. At the camp, she completely fells for the only boy right there: a almost-twenty-year-old coach: Eric. She flirts with him at a salsa party, she would do anything to have him. Which she finally does: they sleep together on the beach. But this will make her fall in a depressive mood. But her friends will help her to speak out her feelings, and she finally realizes how much she misses her mother. A morning, she meets Eric who was looking for her. He apologies for what happened and they promise to each other to now be friends. Her pants miracle: she wears the pants the night she sleeps with Eric, and Eric gives her the pants (he got from her dog) as he came to apologize.

Bailey Graffman - She's a 12 year-old girl who fell in Wallman's. She then forwards a package to Tibby, and gets to talk with her. She then helps her as an assistant on her movie-making. She's ill, she has a leukemia. She shares a great friendship with Tibby, until the end.

Kostos Dounas - He's a gorgeous Greek boy, who helps his grandfather by fishing. She saves Lena from drowning and tries everything to get to know her. They fall in love, even though heir families hate each other.

 

Eric Richman - He's a football coach in the camp of Mexico that Bridget attends. He definitely desires her, despite she's too young for him. They sleep together and he feels guilty about that. He promises her to keep being his friend, and asks her to give him a shot in the next few years.

Paul - He's Carmen's future-step-brother. He plays soccer. And he doesn't talk. At all. But this is because he's a little depressed because his father has an alchoolic addiction.

 

Krista - She's Carmen's future-step-sister. She's sweet. Really sweet. Too sweet. Carmen doesn't like her. At all.

 

 

Brian - He was selected by Bailey to feature the suckumentary. He's completely addicted to videogames, and in particular to Dragon's Lair. He's a great friend of Bailey's and will be as affected as Tibby by her death.
